Demo Presenter(s) Description
Demo Jam Winner and
SAP InnoJam Winner: CloudSitter

Matthew Riches and Andreas Profitlich
Red Solution and
Barmer GEK

Prematurely born infants have a high chance of complications, one of which is SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). CloudSitter allows parents to monitor vital body functions of their children during sleep using wearable sensors. The application transfers data to the SAP HANA Cloud where it is compared against reference data of healthy infants. Parents then receive information about these health indicators on their mobile device, including alerts when something turns to the worse. CloudSitter can also collect the data for large scale sampling and historical analysis, enabling predictions of future developments of an infant's health.

Because of the connection of human and technical aspects, it is both a human solution (reducing SIDS fatalities), as well as an economic solution (reducing the amount of false-alarm visits to a doctor). It might also be possible to detect patterns and analyze long-term global development of the syndrome.

Uninet Nic Doodson and
Will Powell, Keytree Ltd
In today's fast-moving working environments, it is no longer acceptable to view and manage business data in a static, flat way. The Keytree Labs Uninet system changes the way we can interact with SAP by making everyday objects into responsive interfaces. In addition to revolutionary hardware interfaces, the Uninet system contains built-in artificial intelligence, which allows the system to adapt to its users and their environment and anticipate their needs. Keytree Labs have built two devices, which are interacting with the Uninet, a refrigerator, and a smart window. Both of the devices use the SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) to interact with the back end, in one case with an ERP system, and in the other with an SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse powered by SAP HANA system.
Search, Analyze, Propose Cédric Ulmer and
Patrick Duverger,
France Labs and City of Antibes, France
Our demo combines BI capabilities with search technologies. With it, you can explore your quantitative data AND search unstructured documents. For whatever BI data you're looking at, you will also see its most relevant documents. Our graph-based interface is optimized for tablets and is already in productive use in the city of Antibes, France. What’s more, our tool is open sourced and combines two complementary technologies. First, the graph-based UI and BI capabilities (which are using FreeDataMap), developed by Patrick Duverger. Second, the enterprise search technologies which are developed by France Labs, and based on Apache Solr.
HENSOR (the Ultimate SAP HANA Sensor)

Ronald Konijnenburg and Ramon Hutters,
CGI Group Inc.
We've built the ultimate sensor by combining a Raspberry Pi (a full 1080p HD camera and extremely accurate weatherproof temperature sensor) and SAP HANA! We use our sensor to keep an eye on business-critical systems. In our demo we will be monitoring a machine using full HD images and continuous real-time measuring of sensor information. Whenever our machine gets into a critical state, we will receive an alert. What happens next? We will demonstrate this live for the SAP TechEd audience!
UMAP the UML to ABAP Code Generation Tool for Model Driven Software Development

Michael Luther and
Mathias Märker,
TTS Talent Management Consulting
UMAP is a project which tries to bring software architects and developers together by bringing code generation functionality from UML into the ABAP world. The tool not only allows for a generation of ABAP classes out of a UML diagram but also enables refactoring of specific aspects of existing applications via selectively designing only portions of the code base. The tool also supports refactoring of previously modeled systems as well, making an iterative design process possible without breaking the tool chain between architects and developers.

Finally, UMAP takes a lot of tedious, demotivating work off of developers who no longer have to retype the architects’ designs. UMAP is an open source project which is looking forward to you using and contributing to it. Come and visit www.uml2abap.org.
Empowering the
End-User with
SAP Sybase ESP and
SAP HANA
Isabel,Diaz Iriberri and Bernhard Wolf,
Nissan Moto Ibérica
and SAP
Combining SAP HANA with SAP Sybase Event Stream Processor (SAP Sybase ESP) enables real-time processing and analysis of Big Data and thus optimization of shop-floor environments where thousands of various sensors generate large amounts of live data. This demo will show an application utilizing these SAP technologies, enhanced with a user-friendly interface that hides all the technologies' complexities and enables the end user to easily deploy and run new logic. In this concrete case, we will talk about a Nissan assembly line in Barcelona, Spain.
